Monica Semedo

I have been catching audiences since before I could explain how — and I have spent a lifetime refining that instinct into something I can now give to others.

For 22 years I was a journalist and presenter at RTL Télé Lëtzebuerg — Luxembourg’s national television. As Master of Ceremonies, I hosted the Olympic Games of the Small States of Europe, Ironman 70.3, events for Mercedes-Benz, and cultural evenings at the Philharmonie Luxembourg.

As a Member of the European Parliament from 2019 to 2024, I hosted the first EU Council anti-racism conference. I spoke at the FRA Forum in Vienna and the Reykjavik Global Forum. My work was featured on CNN, BBC and Euronews.

Through all of it, I learned something no course teaches: how to hold a room not by being louder — but by being fully, authentically present.

Since 2021 I have been living with a visual impairment. What it changed about how I work on stage has made me a sharper observer, a more attuned coach, and a more empathetic guide.

The stage is always a performance. SHINE makes sure it is unmistakably yours.
